The Wanderlust

J.R.R.  Tolkien once rightfully said- “Not all those who wander are lost.” All of us have a certain spark in our hearts, a longing to visit places we’ve never seen before and my mind is constantly fuelled by visual images of beautiful cities and far away hills.

The Wanderlust

I want to see many beautiful sights
And warm myself by the fire at night
Be guided home by the flickering lights
Maybe pause, and watch the moon if I might

I’ll climb the highest mountain and dive into the sea
There’s no other place where I would rather be
I’ll live out of a suitcase and photograph the world
And all these memories will set my head in a whirl

Travelling is not just about the place or city
It is about that magical journey
That paves the path to self discovery
And turns your dreams into reality
