Take me there

Anais Nin once said-“We travel, some of us forever, to seek other places, other lives, other souls.” Travelling isn’t about the destination, it’s about the journey, the experiences and what fills up our souls. I’m only 16 years old and I haven’t travelled the world yet, but it sure is on my bucket-list.

Take me there

Where roofs are replaced by the starry skies
Where dust and toxic air does not reach
Where crowded cities are a far away sight
Where home seems familiar to me

Where the untamed wild continues to exist
In a forest, with eerie sounds by the night
Where in tranquillity, I can sit and reminisce
The wonderful days, the wonderful sights

Where I can get a glimpse of the picturesque sunset
And see hues of orange and gold everywhere
To a place my heart longs to visit
Take me there, take me there
